Spotting a bald eagle is often a reward for the vigilant.
You will commonly see lobster fishermen hauling their traps and schooners cruising the coast. |

Your boat tour options may include an "Around The Island Trip". The intriguing architecture of many of Deer Isle's waterfront homes is always an attraction worth considering. A visit to the island village of North Haven is another possibility.
The highlight of the boat tour, however, is the islands themselves. They invite exploration. New for 2010, you can even see under water by video camera.
